    Adopted new ratties

I was able to adopt to new girls on Saturday from Rochester Hills humane society. Two beautiful girls Scarlett and Pearl. I've been wanting a fawn for a really long time, and when I saw these two on Petfinder.com, I asked Chris about it just as a joke. He really wants a fawn too, and to my complete surprise he told me to call them up and see if we can get them. Well, we drove th 2 hours down there, and were pretty heartbroken when they told us that since we have males in our household that were not neutered, they could not adopt them to us.
Well after 2 hours, and answering all kinds of questions, they decided to let us have them. I'm so excited to have these two girls!

So, without further ramblings here are my new girls, Scarlett (fawn hooded) and Pearl (cinnamon pearl)!

I'm not a hundred percent on Pearl's coloring, but I'm pretty certain she is a cinnamon pearl with those black eyes, and sometimes she looks very reddish. She's a gorgeous rat, and although shy, she is very sweet. That fireheaded fawn is incredibly outgoing and curious. Awesome additions I think!

The self is a beige(they can have black or red eyes) and the other girl is a poor fawn.

What are they eating?? Looks like puppy food.

Yup, they do have some dog food right now. We've run out of mazuri at the moment, so we picked up some to carry over till next week.
As to the beige girl, she looks more red when compared to our beige girls... It's a very odd color. Red in sunlight, but beige in the flash.

They look sweet. My fawn's can wash out a bit if the flash catches them wrong too. Glad they've gone to a caring owner and I'm sure you'll have loads of fun with the new girls.

Thanks Jo! I'm pretty happy with them, my fawn and honey colored girl.
