Pairings
I FINALLY figured out my pairings for this season. I'll have pictures this evening, don't get yer panties in a bunch
My 06 Lemon Pastel, Orth, who is 1200g now, has been placed with Breth, an 02 or 03 clean, light normal female who weighs 2250g. This pairing last season produced gorgeous offspring who were all light and clean patterned, and one pastel female who looked like a darn super, haha.
My 06 Yellowbelly male, Branth, who is almost 900g, has been placed with Alaranth, an 03 or 04 dark granite female. She is up to 1700g+ and he locked with her within 20 minutes. The contrasts between the two is so neat. He looks like a fire and she looks very hypermelanistic.
My 06 100% het Pied Classic Jungle male Tiroth, who is a bit over 800g, is being placed with Amani, an 04 clean, normal female I raised from a tiny hatchling. She's around 1950-2000g. Their colors complement each other nicely.
My 07 Black Pastel male, unnamed, who is over 300g now, will eventually be placed(late this season) with Arith, an 05 high yellow blackback female. She is over 1600g now and she will complement him wonderfully. Their patterns are very comparable and hopefully will make more pretty little black pastels
I still don't know what I'm going to do with the Yellow/Green Hypo male. There's always NARBC to find him a girlfriend!
Thanks for reading. I can't wait to see what comes from all of this. It's so exciting!

Is that my Pandor's mummy and daddy? LOL.
Best wishes on your breedings this year, Becky!

Poor, poor Sully!
Good luck this year!

Re: Pairings
Sorry Robin, I only have so much room. Sully says he's in shed and he thinks he's too fat. Maybe when that reduced patterned, blushed out female gets big enough, he'll go with her
And yep Jo, those are Pandora's parents. I can't wait to see if they will make more offspring like her.
I do like Anne McCaffrey! I found a page on Wikipedia that has lists of the dragon and other character names. It's so neat.
The Het Pied got placed back with Amani again. He starts courting her within 30 minutes, what a stud

Re: Pairings
Ah, I thought you had told me before he'd be breeding this year - I was getting really excited about getting one of his daughters this year. I guess I'll mark it on my calendar for next year then!
