    To breed or to trade?

Ok, I've tried and tried...everything I can think of to get my male Amel corn to adjust to handling. Not putting him back till he's still, holding him less time or more... It hasn't worked, and he actually turned and nipped me today. SIGH.

He's a beautiful snake, and has some good genetics (100% het for snow the breeder said), but I bought him to be a pet primarily. Recently, I saw a really pretty and very gentle female albino corn at my reptile store for $50(is that too much or just right?).
So, it comes down to this: should I keep my Amel male to breed with that female, or should I trade him for her to breed with my Ghost male, which I want to do anyway. Unless they can show a purpose, such as good breeding, I don't really like having nippy, aggressive animals around.

What does everyone here think? I would rather get the opinions of experts before making a decision.

Cute...very cute. I love how he looks, he's just a brat that I can't hold. I guess it would be a good idea to see if he makes a good breeder first. Thanks for the opinion.
Now to go see if they'll let me have that albino for $40 instead

I think it's up to you, honestly. 99% of corns are puppy-dog tame. You just had some bum luck and got one of the ones in the 1%. If he doesn't really make you 100% happy (regardless of how good of a breeder he is) then I would find a new home for him. Especially if he's primarily a pet 1st; breeder 2nd.

I dont know about you, but I wouldnt be satisfied with a trade because he cant be handled.
