    Plane time...

My husbands parents and mine got together to get us tickets to go home to Indiana for two weeks. YAY!! The bad part? Planes.... once again my fear of flying has me fighting to keep the water I drink down.
Not to mention I'm worried over my cats (one of which just recently had PU surgery and will be bording at my vets but still).
My snakes, my gpigs, my hamster and other lovely tidbits. I have two friends who are apartment/animal sitting for me but still. Flight is at 10:15 tonight, still got many hours of being sick to my stomach. I made it through the flights last time without taking anything and I won't take anything this time but dang I just wish the paranoid side of me would shut the heck up!

Poor thing. I hate flying too.... can't stand it!!! You'll be fine. Bring music or a book, anything you can loose yourself in. (that's ok in public )

Have a wonderful trip, and try not to worry too much.

Have a couple of drinks before you fly...makes those cross country flights so much easier. I fly to Asia (which is 18 hours) and believe you me I am drinking the entire flight...

When you coming home? The weather is getting icy cold but at least no snow yet.

    Re: Plane time...

Well I survived. Actually, my boss's son drove us down there.... biggest mistake of my life. Flying 90+ down I-5 weaving in an out of traffic... I told my husband I would rather be on a plane!
So, after arriving alive at the airport (much to my shock) I was happy to board. We were seats 33 c and 33 d which left 33 e to the inside for someone else to sit.
Eventually this guy walked up and said 'so you're the lucky ones'... odd man, we scooted in cause he wanted isle seat and started talking. Nice guy, a bit tipsy already we saw. He found out my husband is navy and decided to buy us drinks all night, so yeah, I did get a few drinks Coke and Whiskey and three bottles that he kept buying me still left over. Fun guy, nice, I hope the rest of his trip was good and that he has a good time.

Flight from GA (looked nice from what I got to see flying over it Robin) to IN was rather blah, didn't care for that plane, too buzzy for my liking. By this time I was too tired to care, we landed. My parents picked us up and drove us the three hours home and here we are. I have learned that I really really hate it when planes have an armrest between the window seat at the window. It sucks.
Computer time almost up, my parents have dial up that does not support ANYTHING so I have to make time at the library.

PS. I know how Indiana weather is. I was expecting a lot worse, just as long as we can get back uneventfully on the 26th I'm good.
