    New Carpet(s)

Well I just got an email from a guy on CL. I will be "saving" two jungle carpets from a guy that has already sold their tanks! I don't have any carpets but I really like them and believe that with my experience with larger snakes they shouldn't be a problem. I already read all the care sheets and such and I am in mid process of building two enclosures that should be ready tomm.(if I don't get lazy) They will stay in the Quarantine Room Rack (back shed for wild caught critters) for three months just in case. They will have their own enclosures so that they don't die trying to breed as he told me that they are trying to do! Well that's it ....here are the pics so far will post more once they are settled.

Yeah in person they seemed very yellow but I'm still reading up to see if that's because they are babies or if it's because their a morph ....one way or the other they are beautiful!

It is normal for jungle carpets to have a yellow hue to them. They are actually selectively bred to produce high yellow babies.

    Re: New Carpet(s)

Cool. yeah i figured that they were 1.1 normals after looking at some pics online. But I am happy all the same they are great looking snakes and seem very docile! I'm done with the enclosures and just running them empty to check temps. I will post good pics once they are settled! thanks
