So ive had alucard my sumatran blood for about a month now. When I got him I was so excited to finally get a bllod that I didnt do a very well inspection at all before I took him home. What I thought was retained skin on his nose turned out to be dried snot from an old RI that never came off. His eye was dimpled and he had mites. I was pissed at myself for not looking very well for this stuff. Well anyways, his husbandry has been corrected from what he was in as is his dent in his eye has now gone away. The second week I had him he refused feeding but he was going through a shed. I sprayed him for mites 3 days before his shed came off. His first shed with me came off in nearly one whole piece. Checked over him after that and is doing great now. Hes accepting rats fine, his nose has cleared up (vet confirmed he no longer has RI), his eye is no longer dimpled and his mites are gone. Frustrating first couple of weeks but in the end, it was worth it. Finally here are some pics of the new guy
