    Arrow B/M, lack thereof

    Hey all-

I am trying very hard not to be overly concerned, but my bp hasn't had a b/m in over a month. It's been about 6 weeks. He eats like a champ and last time he had a b/m it did take him a bit of time. (Around a month or so.)

I am worried this time that the kink in his back might be effecting him, preventing him from having a b/m.

Just thinking about it, he's been on rat pups for the entire span of time, so maybe there is less that comes out. Before that he was on hopper mice. I haven't tried soaking him, but I'll do that and give him a belly rub.

Is there anything else I can do? I plan on setting up a vet appt. to have a fecal done, but he hasn't done the deed yet...

One more thing, how long can a sample last in the fridge, a few days?

My girl usually goes at night. So when she does. I put it in a ziploc baggie. And put it in the fridge. And take it to the vet the next morning.

If Its a weekday and I'm working. Ill take it as soon as I get off. I thought I'd heard people say its good for around 24 to 48 hours.

But obviously. The sooner you can get it in there the better.
