Re: bp weight
I am not an expert. But our 1 yr old BP was 196 grams a month ago or so - then after another meal was 226 grams. Your snake sounds about right. How often are you feeding? Once a week?

Re: bp weight
Does seem small to me as well, i have four month olds weighing more than that, the differece is probably my choice of feeding rats. I also feed every 5 days not every 7. So they eat six times a month instead of 4. I also got them on rats as soon as i could, just what i preffer and i can get them in any size needed whenever i need them. So this goes back to the whole rat, mouse debate.

Honestly i think that is super small! I have four month olds heavier.

Re: bp weight
I have 4 month olds who are over 250g, and are feeding on medium adult mice.. It's a myth that feeding rats is better. Just feed what they will eat, have a consistent schedule, and they will grow.
The OP's snake might not have had a good start, therefore the smaller size. As long as the snake looks healthy, is eating every single week, sheds regularly, and is gaining weight, there isn't an exact weight the snake should be at, at that age. I would recommend a fecal check by a vet though, just to rule out internal parasites. Other than that, I wouldn't worry about it. By that age, the snake should be on adult mice or fuzzy rats, so if he/she's not, might want to bump it up to the right size.

Re: bp weight
My 6 month old is right at 220 g and my 4 month old is around 350g. So I think that some snakes just grow at different rates.

Re: bp weight
My 4 month old girl is heavier than that too. She's 200.
She eats mice only cause its easier for me to get the right size.
Eats 2 hoppers a week. Totalling about 20 grams.
I might bump her up to every 5 days. Cause I feed on friday. And on monday she's out cruising all night. And every night afterwards until feeding day.

Re: bp weight
My 07's are at least 200+ grams by now. Maybe its time to bump the prey item size up a bit.
