    coastal carpet

what is the temperament of the coastal carpet? I've been reading a lot of different answers and I'd like to hear one from someone who has kept them before.

well i have one .And at first they are very snappy if you get them from a guy who hasent played with them. But like in a week they calm down fast. They are very nice i think easy to keep and grow pretty good sizes if im not mistaken they are the biggest carpet species. i think they are good pets, and are a good choice i would get one if i were you

Most all of the carpet species are a bit nippy until they hit about a 1 - 1.5 yrs. of age. With some consistent regular handling, they can tame down well.

Oh man... I saw the most beautimous coastal today!! He was an adult but just gorgeous! Had to be about 7 feet... sweet as a baby and so curious... he was just a doll. We got to hold him for a few and I couldn't believe the strength of him. < wondering if we can fit a 5 foot enclosure into our bedroom >

Also got to hold a baby jungle carpet about a year old and OMG it was like holding a baby cornsnake... darting all over the place and it tagged my husband... lol. His first snake bite ever lmao. It was a beautiful lil snake but dang... fiesty!
