Size Matters?
So my male ball was born this past summer. I got him in late aug. On Sept 14 I finally got a scale and he weighed 150 grams. He is now as of today up to 217 grams. Does this seem too slow? I am feeding one adult mouse every 6 to 7 days. Is it time to jump to a small rat or rat fuzzy *and do any pet stores carry rat fuzzys? I really don't need 50 at a time....
Thanks everyone.
I really wish there was a guide for ball feeding like there is for corns. *hint hint people*

Re: Size Matters?
Well it really depends on you and how much and how fast you would like them to grow. There is nothing wrong with feeding once a week and alot of people only feed mice for the entire life of there snakes. Personally i feed what i would call small weaned rats, and i feed every 4-5 days for the babies and do one small rat once a week for yearlings.
1.1 pastel balls, 0.1 spider ball, 1.0 green tree python, 2.0 high yellow jungle carpets, 0.1 jaguar jungle carpet, 1.1 hypo-red group boa, 0.1 suriname boa, 1.0 ghost boa, 1.0 hypo boa, 1.0 anery boa, 1.0 red albino, 0.1 het red albino, 0.1 jungle het albino, 0.1 sunglow, 0.2 het albino, 1.1 proven DH snow, 0.1 het anery, 1.0 dh sunglow, 1.1 normal rtb.

Re: Size Matters?
BP all grow at a different rate, what matter is that your BP are healthy and have a good body weight
1 Adult mouse once a week is enough food for your BP.
I usually start offering a second mouse (for the mousers) at about 500 grams if that helps.

Re: Size Matters?
My new mojave was born Aug 4 and weighs 200 grams - I'm happy with his size. I'm feeding live rat pups (eyes and ears opened for a couple of days)
