    New Burm rescue

So I got this albino burm a little over a week ago. I knew this guy who bought a bp and was told if he didn't take the burm with it then he couldn't buy the bp. He's unable to care for a larger snake because his kids. I took him in as I have room and can provide for him as needed. He recently had a shed and my first attempt to feed him was today. He unfortunately would not eat it. In fact it's in there with him now all curled up and acting as his pillow. Guess I'll give him more time. I was told he has mites, I haven't seen any. I did spray him and his tank when I first got him. He is in a different room than my other herps. I believe he has an RI and will be getting him to see my vet this week. I don't think he was taken good care of. Probably some young kid that fed him whenever he felt like it, never. I was also told he is 5 but he's pretty small and I don't know where he got that number from. Here's some pictures. I caught him in shed one morning.

Huh???? you've gotta be kidding me.... The guy was threatened into taking a burm??? I can just see it now...

Two big burly thugs corner a guy in a dark alley. One of the thugs says to the cornered guy, 'Hey pal, you owe us money... Now the way I see it you've got one of two choices. Either we break your knee caps, or you gotta take this Burmese python.'

    Good grief, what next????

Nice looking snake by the way...

Congrats and good for you for taking in a rescue. He is a good looking burm-and I agree, if he is 5 he is quite small. Good luck!!
