Hello. I am new to these forums and to Ball Pythons (but not to snakes). I have had corn snakes and chameleons in the past but this will be my first ball. I went to the reptile show in Columbia, SC last month and got bitten by the herp bug once again. As a result, I have a beautiful 100% het caramel albino male on the way from Charlie Quinones (thanks Charlie!) scheduled to arrive Friday and I'm excited. My daughter has always been fascinated by any type of creepie crawlie, so she can't wait either.

This place is really THE place to find detailed info about ball pythons and there care. I am the type that does hours of research before I will ask a single question. Being the stubborn, hard headed person I am (thanks mom) I would rather dig for days than ask for help. If I can't find the answer, I may eventually ask the question. Admittedly not a great trait, just ask my wife.

That being said, one thing that really helped me on this site are the tags. For those that don't know, most of the threads on this forum are labeled with a convenient tag essentially categorizing each thread into a "folder". These tags (or folders) are accessible here or on the menu at the top of every page.

One thing that might help newbs is to put a word cloud like this containing the most popular tags in the sidebar menu or even at the top of the page:

Ok, this may be easier said than done. Just a suggestion.

Thanks everyone for such a great resource!
