Is there a vet in the house?!?!?!?

I have a few bearded dragon babies, 2 clutches actually, and I started out with 16 from clutch 1 and 17 from clutch 2. All of a sudden, babies started dieing from Clutch #2. . .seemed that every one that died had a little black spot on his/her stomach, like an ambilical cord, but it didnt have it till right before it died. Now, over half of our stock has died, and we have no idea why! We have them housed 4 to an aquarium, and 3 of the 4 will be A-OK and then boom the 4th one gets weak, stops eating, and dies. . .THEN we had some from a 3rd clutch who were older, and we started with 6, sold 2 and traded 1 for a columbian red tailed boa (who died 3 days after the trade. . .) and now that we separated the 3 that we have left, one of them died too! Can anyone tell me WHY my dragons are dieing? They're getting the right temps, right diet, right calcium, right UV, everything SEEMS perfect, but certain ones just dont make it! If anyone can help, we'd REALLY appreciate it. . .

    Thanks again,

    Nathan

Have they been to a vet? If so, what did your vet think was going on?

Havent taken them to a vet yet, every time one gets sick it dies within 24hours so we dont really have time or money to take them all to the vet. We did call the vet and he said it was probably genetic from the mother.

    Hi,

    That sounds horrible.

If it is still happening it would probably be a good idea to ask the vet for the procedure in getting a necropsy done and making arrangements to keep the next loss in the fridge and get it checked in the hopes it is something the vet can prevent happening to the others?

I'd just be suspicious the boa had introduced something into my collection that needed stamping out before I lost the lot.
