going back to school...
so how many people here went back to school after several years "break"?
I just got accepted (passed my entrance exam and speed typing test) today!! I should start school on November 24th for court reporting. Im so excited to have the testing out of the way, and i dont have to take any remedial classes which is a HUGE bonus. I was just curious how many people went to college after years of break and what you went for.

Re: going back to school...
I have been out of school for a year now, and I am currently studying for the MCATs to get into Medical School.
I have to say that being out in the "real world" is not so bad, after now having to crack open the books again....
Bleh on studying...

Argentra - Sorry, not trying to trump you, but....
I graduated from high school in 1977. Went to a jr college my first year out of high school and majored in pool and foosball (in other words, I spent more time in the student union than in class). In 1981, I got married. My wife was a full time student at a university, and I took a few classes there. About 1989, I got serious and returned to school full time. I received my bsba - management information systems in 1991. I worked in information systems for 15 years before developing migraines. Early last year, I "retired" from information systems. I now work in a grocery store as a Dairy Manager.

Graduated H.S. in 1979.....Started jr. college in 1999 after the company I worked for packed up and moved to Chili. Spent a year and a half in computer maintenance but decided to drop out due to health reasons.
