    Sick Rabbit?!?!?!

Dont know if you guys know a lot about rabbits but I have a 8-9 year old dwarf rabbit.
Since maybe 2 weeks ago, he doesn't eat much at all. I used to feed him once a day and now his bowl is always almost full, so I give him fresh stuff anyway.
He hardly drinks anything at all now. I used to fill it once every 3-4 days. Now I just give him some so it's fresh. It's only like maybe half gone.

I used to have to clean him once a week... Now he hardly doesn't even need cleaned. He doesnt poo, pee, eat or drink!

His energy level is probably about the same as it always has been...

I picked him up a few days ago to see if he was block and I just gave him a good rub down to see for any lumps or anything but I didnt find anything wrong.
BUT the weird part was when I picked him up he started to pee like a fountain. It was crazy. It was almost like a water gun, I was holding him trying to aim it in the cage. Kinda funny but not funny!

Any ideas??? It could be just old age and it's his time to go...?
May last rabbit lived until he was 10 or 11 and he died I believe because of cancer of some kind.

Why is it called 'after dark' when it really is 'after light'?

    Re: Sick Rabbit?!?!?!

I'd say get him to the vet. Good luck with him!

What Judy said....get him to the vet immediately. You're already working with a two-week handicap now, don't make it longer. Ideally, he would have been seen within the first couple of days of abnormal behavior...they can be quite fragile, and hard to save if too far gone.

    Re: Sick Rabbit?!?!?!

Yep we are going to the vet tomorrow...
Last night I picked him up again and did a check over and he has a huge skin sack handing next to his "winkie". And no it's not his winkie that I'm looking at. So he might have a cancer or some kinda growth... Hopefully the vet can fix him up!

Thanks for the input I guess!

Those would be testicles dear.. Bunny testicles are disgusting.

Definitely sounds like he's not feeling very good since those have descended. Glad you're getting him to a vet!
