    Breeding Question

I have a question. I've seen pictures of these big breeders who keep their snakes in the breeding racks. My question is do those snakes stay in the little rack box all year or do you have special tanks for them. . .I dont know if the racks are just to keep them seperated during mating season or what. . .could someone help me out with this?

    Re: Breeding Question

the tubs in the rack are of an appropriate size for the species of snake to live in for its entire life. breeders or keepers with large collections use them to save as much space as possible while offering the most suitable living environment for the animal.

    Re: Breeding Question

Ok, thats cool. . .i was just wondering. . .and also, how do you get the snakes to stay in those tubs? I didnt see any kind of top on most of them, so maybe because its too small of a gap for them to fit through. . .i dunno. . .i just think balls are beautiful lil creatures and if I ever decided to breed them (Which i doubt will happen any time soon) I needed some basic info. Thanks alot for the reply

    Re: Breeding Question

ya usually the tubs fit perfectly in the rack so no lid is needed. if you decide to breed make sure you research like crazy while youre raising up your fututre breeders from babies. its a lot more work than people think but as long as you have your information down you should not run into too many problems. good luck!
