BP eggs
When my bp lays eggs. can i seal off the top of the conainer so i can keep temps and humidity spot on perfect. or do i have to poke wholes in the saran wrap. ( i would use saran wrap on top of the container of eggs)

Re: BP eggs
I usually cover it completely, and "burp" the container once a week or so.
This also depends on your incubator though.
Depending on how high the fan is going, or how hot the temps you are using are, and how dry/wet you keep your substrate, and what type of substrate all matter how you keep the tubs with eggs in it.
It is a learning and adjusting process.

Re: BP eggs
In my one whole incubatation experience, I used the Glad Press and Seal to seal the entire container. Like Heather said, I would unseal it once a week or so to allow some fresh air in. It worked perfectly for me, as all 6 eggs hatched.

Re: BP eggs
I seal it completely. there have been times when I've religiously made sure there was regular air exchange (ie once a week or once every two weeks)
This year I let a couple clutches go the entire distance without any air exchange without any different results....

Re: BP eggs
I use Nature spirits incubators, my containers have two small holes for air exchange. No problems.
As you can see from holes to no holes, it doesn't seem to matter.... whatever works!
