Got me thinking, and someone showed me this clip, so I thought I would post it up....Does that clip hit too close to home? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CjX7QJwzp-U
I haven't seen the movie, so I wasn't really all that attached to skip, but it did make me tear up pretty good, but not a full on cry. I have a beagle-boxer mix, shes now 5 years old and shes my girl, I can't wait to see her again during my holiday breaks and I will always hold a special place for her. So seeing the clip made me think of her and how attached to her I really am, and I pictured her in the spot of Skip and it hit me pretty hard. I have already had to put one dog down and I cried for days. With Molly, who is my first actual dog, since Sandy (my first dog) had so many medical conditions she just laid around and didn't really do anything a normal dog would. However, with Molly, she is full of energy and wants to do nothing but play. I dread the day of having to let her go and its going to be the closest I have come to loosing an actual family member...
