    Architect mice!

    Thought you guys would get a kick out of this... They did this on their own, I just provided the parts...

    Too cute! I know our rats will do all sorts of funny things with anything in their enclosures. I've had female rats use their food dishes to keep their busy babies in the nest (dig nest...stuff in wriggly butt babies....empty food bowl...drag food bowl over and flip upside down on top of babies....go off for a drink, a snack and a well deserved nap away from the teat leeches).

    The ASF's are really good at this stuff. They haul tubes around, move their hides and use their food bowls as baby ASF playpens. Smart little boogers!
