Give him another week. If he refuses again. Try like a live rat pup. Make sure you supervise.
    Hope this helps

Re: bp not feeding again (week 2)

Temps are dropping... sometimes, BPs go on hunger strikes during the winter months. Females especially may do this.

Can I ask how long you've had him/her? Is this the first winter you've been through with him/her?

I agree, leave the snake alone, don't get him out for handling or anything for another week, make sure your temps and humidity are spot on---again, things are changing in the atmosphere---and try again next week.

Re: bp not feeding again (week 2)

How old, what size is he/she? If its an adult, they do go off feed sometimes during breeding season. Other than that, check out the care sheets on this site. See how your sankes care matches up. Often when a snake goes off feed, its a husbandry issue. Did you change prey items? Is it colder than normal. I wouldn't bother him until you get him to eat. Other than cleaning and water..no holding. Two weeks without eating is nothing at all to worry about.

Re: bp not feeding again (week 2)

Medium rats? what do you consider medium? how long are the rats you typically feed...or how much do they weigh (in grams)?

If you're feeding too big of a meal, then that may be your problem...
