    Re: Baby albino ball python

Like Nate said, keeping an albino will be exactly like keeping any other bp. The only "special" something that I can think of is that it is a little more tricky to tell when they are going blue. This has been mentioned in other threads, but I thought I would mention it here. You MIGHT notice that the snake just looks a little "off". You won't see the normal dulling and darkening of the skin. You MIGHT see that the eyes have turned a slight lavender color instead of the normal pink. But the most obvious sign will be a very pink belly. The first time I saw it, I was concerned that the snake had somehow gotten burned.

    Hope this helps,
    Steve

Why is it called 'after dark' when it really is 'after light'?

SPF 50 sunscreen or higher whenever going on outside trips!

    (just kidding)
    1.0 Normal BP - "Snakey"
1.0 Jungle carpet python - "Chewbacca" aka "Chewie"
0.1 Olive python - "Cleopatra" aka "Cleo"
    0.0.1 Corn - "Husker"
    1.0 Veiled Chameleon - "Kermit"
