    Craigslist people are scary.

Can anyone make sense of this CL post?

I am a personal consumer LOL and breeder of "choice" feeder rats. I will deliver, {free of charge if locally) or you can bring your snakes and dine here if you like. Some times I ho to Ellis Park with my digital camera and pack a little picnic lunch for both of us. but in anycase I can show you some good techniques of cleaning and meal preparation [ if you want] and I'm open to learning new tricks too [like the salad tong thing]. I guess the vet told me I was spoiling or babying my snakes with their eating habits, but they love it. They have very healthy appetites, which is what I want to provide for you and your snakes. Bring this ad as a coupon LOL and I will half your normal "Hoffman's" or "PetFart" deal of
    ADULT LARGE RAT $ 6.50
    MED RAT $ 5.50
    SMALL RAT $ 4.50
    FUZZY/PINK $ 3.00

You know what those :cens0r: will buy these from me for ... one quarter
each / .50 for the med and large. So out of spite since they have taken hundreds of dollars from me anyway, I'll do half of what they charge and can also help you with anti-biotic and vitamin supplements if needed. So my service man name is Brian call me at 925 689 1792 leave a message if I don't answer. I'm trying to find something I loved and lost by paying good karma out and keep chasing a imaginary rainbow. Have you kissed your snake today? I have. The two I have left. {oh and use <--------------------craig sent me for e-mail heading replies>
I'm not sure if he's talking about eating the rats himself (personal consumer, cleaning/meal prep) or if he just takes his snakes to the park so he can feed them in public.

CL people are scary. Another women was just killed over a nanny job ad.

Not sure about the add though, makes no sense to me either. It does sound like he likes to have "picnics" in the park with his snakes, and that he likes to consume them also? WOW.

When I list something on craigslist, and have people coming over that
    1. Shaun is always home, and I never give out my address until after he is home.
    2. My dogs are always inside, I know they would die proctecting me and my family. Especially my lab.
    3. The taser is always within arms reach Man that thing hurts, trust me I know.

Mostly, I will put what ever I am selling out in the garage, then have the people come in the garage, and either one of my Dogs is with me, or Shaun is with me or just inside the house. That way no one is actually coming into my house.

Lately with all the stories I have been hearing in the news, I don't think I will be having people come over. I will be meeting them in a public place, and with my husband.

Just don't meet them at a park... especially if they ask if you want to join them for a picnic.

I never ever meet anyone at their home when answering ball python ads. We always meet at a Petsmart or Petco somewhere between us, in the middle of the day in the parking lot.

Now... THAT is freaky. I sincerely wonder where people like the OP come from.. La-La Land?
I only meet people off of CL in public places. Once we met at the tattoo shop where Mark works; another time, at a local store parking lot in a busy area. I am too mistrusting of strangers.. but I never thought of meeting anyone without being with my husband as well. He has a concealed pistol carrying permit..
we did have one couple visit to adopt a snake.. I had a good vibe from them and looked them up on their website. But I really do not want to do that again; too weird of a world.

    Re: Craigslist people are scary.

You need to be VERY careful about meeting anyone online, craigslist or not. There was a recent murder in New Jersey when a young woman answered a bogus nanny ad in person.

    http://newjersey.craigslist.org/kid/462460300.html

I actually met my husband online many years ago so I'm really aware of how many precautions we took when we met on our first "real" date. I think people are pretty smart about that stuff but maybe don't think that something like craigslist could be used by a predator.
