    Relocating to Georgia

Hey all! I will be relocating from California to Georgia next month. Is there anything I need to know before crossing state lines with a ball python? Are there any laws against balls in Georgia? Thanks.

I don't know exactly what town I'm going to live in yet (somewhere north of atlanta). I'm a corporate pilot that will be based out of PDK(Peachtree-Dekalb Airport). If anybody knows a good apartment complex within a half hour drive of the airport let me know. thanks

Welcome to GA - ball pythons are allowed in GA. But any indigenous non-venomous snake to GA is not allowed (no cornsnakes, for example).

I live in Marietta, the Northwest side of Atlanta, so I don't know the Dekalb area quite as well to recommend any place to live (as Dekalb is the Northeast side of Atlanta).

You can't have a cornsnake in GA? Now that is a wacky law!

Why is it called 'after dark' when it really is 'after light'?

Here is what you need to know regarding the animals that cannot be kept as pet in GA http://georgiawildlife.dnr.state.ga....nt=6&txtPage=2, and BP are not one of them.
