    Talking So excited!!

So I was browsing online, looking at some snakes with no intention of buying- but then I came across this adorable male pastel and couldent say no so I called the guy, and he only lives an hour and 1/2 away!

So tomorrow around 2pm he will be in my possesion I'm so excited I can hardly wait!! The only upsetting thing is that I am giving my male normal to a friend.. She just loves him and got everything she needed, so I'm giving him to her for a pet.
But other then that Im estatic! There was a pic of him and his father on the ad, but he took the ad off after I called, so tomorrow around this time I will post up some pictures of him. And also, a year from now I will be breeding him and my YB together. I will have another YB and a Mojave by then atleast, but they will still be babies so Im excited to see what will come out of him and Rin with both of their blushing!!
Tomorrow you can all exspect pictures

    Re: So excited!!

Congrats! What an exciting night! I bet you won't get much sleep thinking about it. And once you get all those BP's you'll be like a kid in a candy store. Yes, please post pics!

And I understand you might be sad to see your normal go. But it sounds like he'll be in good hands. And you can take credit for making a snake lover out of someone.

I'm kinda in the same position, I have to get rid of my normal female for a male pastel, if I can keep my girl somewhere (Lynn's) for a couple years until I move out then thats a bonus. But I really want to make a goal for my self. I don't want to produce normals, I want to make pastels, then super pastels. Then make some bees and so on oh well, snakes can come and go. Can't wait to see pics!

You'll still produce normals with a pastel to normal pairing - just so you're aware. You'll have a 50% chance of each egg being pastel or normal.

I know. When I move out I want to buy another pastel, to breed him, or I'll look for a spider, either way, I want to make some awesome snakes, my goal is set high right now.

That normal female will come in handy when you wanna make more pastel's.

Just remember that the only way to make no normals, at a minimum, is to breed a Super Pastel to a normal. Even with Pastel to Pastel, each egg has a 25% chance of being Normal.
