Decided to take his first swim!

After having him for a year, he has never once explored the inside of his water bowl area. Today he went to attack his rat and landed in the water on attack and after he was finished eating, decided to just throw himself inside for a little 5 minute dip!

    Hey, this feels kinda nice!

    Hi dad!

    I love the water...

    Great pics!

Mine kind of hates the water- when I first got him he was in the middle of a bad shed, so I soaked him... he put up with it for a few minutes, but eventually started doing the wiggly-worm thing.

    How big is he?

Just wait until he discovers his water bowl not only makes a great swimming pool, but also a nice toilet.

That second shot is the look Gomez always slays me with. There's few things quite as adorable as a ball python looking you straight on with his chin resting on something.

Snakes love the water! At least pythons do. It is almost magical to them and cure illness just kidding but they do seem to love it! Nice setup.

Thanks for all the comments guys, there is something so adorably cute when they look at you resting against something...

As of right now, I'm not sure about weight, but I'd assume he's about 3ft maybe a little bit more, that is a standard 20 gallon tank and that bowl covers 1/4 of the tank and all the way across width wise, that should give you a rough idea of his size
