2 questions

I recently purchased 2 ball pythons, each one measures about 18 inches, so they are pretty small. I have them both in a 30 gallon tank. They were hatchlings together, so i guess you could say that they have been acquainted.

Is this wise to have 2 in the same tank? I have read mixed thoughts on it. I feed them separately outside of the tank, and there are hide spots on each side. They usually stay together in 1 big ball.

Also how many times can i refreeze mice? one of them ate, the other seems afraid of the mice

There is a search function located near the top of the page. I would suggest using that since there are tons of threads where this has already been discussed and beaten to death with a stick.

Personally, I would seperate them. It makes things easier because housing individually reduces stress and they do not have to compete for resouces.

Well I'm new to ball pythons, and actually I dont' know about co-habing, although I know you shouldn't do it with cornsnakes...

But you should NEVER re-freeze mice. Once thawed if its not eaten get rid of it!

I would seperate them into 2 10 gallons.



They may be acquainted, but that doesn't mean that they are happy.



And for the feeding, I only tend to refreeze once, then toss after that.
