    spraying snakes

Do you guys spray down your snake? The pet store told me to do this but I always feel so mean because he freaks out.

There's no need to. As long as your humidity in the enclosure is fine, then you don't need to mist. Soaking or getting them too wet prior to the shedding phase can actually make that shed worse. Think about it like us going swimming and how our skin gets dehydrated and wrinkly. Theirs does the same, and doesn't allow them to shed normally.

I've never done it or heard of anyone doing it. As long as you keep your humidity in the 50 to 60 percent range on the daily. And 70 to 75 percent during shed. You'll be just fine.

I only have to spray the inside of the enclosure twice a day to get the himidity up to 70%... thats the only time really, or if it drops below 45-40 I spray to get it back up to 50 when she is not in shed...
I dont ever spray the snake...cause she is usually hiding I guess, but if there was a stuck shed on or something like that I still wouldnt spray her but I would give her a warm bath to help get if off...
Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings.

Why is it called 'after dark' when it really is 'after light'?
