Thank you, ShopVac :)
I had been keeping my BCI on EcoEarth in a display-type cage. I decided to switch to newspaper like I use for my BPs, for ease of use, inexpensive-ness, and clianliness. But.. how to get the fibers of EE out? The cage is like a modified aquarium; top is a closed metal sheet with holes punched in. Walls are glass.. sliding doors. Too heavy for me to carry outside and hose out..
Presto! I brought in our Shop-Vac and within seconds, it sucked out the dust and dirt. Worked like a charm!

We love the shopvac. It's a lifesaver for when my daughter cleans out her guinea pig enclosure.

Re: Thank you, ShopVac :)
There are even some smaller ones out that would probably be easier to carry around. Ours is big, and it is a lot of work to bring it in.. I think that I saw some for around $20-30 at HDepot last year.. if any of my family members are on here looking for my Xmas gift ideas (not likely lol..!)
