Must be something in the water around BP.net

I woke up this morning and went to check on the ratties and we have our first litter . Must be something in the water around here with so many of us having litters the past couple of days, lol. Mama and babies are all doing great. She had 8, not bad for her first litter. It looks like I have 2 more ready to pop in the next few days as well. Well on my way to having the 3/4 litters a week I need. I cannot wait until I no longer need to buy them on a regular basis!

The more you are waiting for it, the longer it takes, lol. It is worse than watching a pot to see it boil. For me it has been 4 to 5 months since I started trying to breed again, so seeing babies it like all the hard work and money I have put into this are finally paying off.

Yea, another litter today. It was Blazie's first litter as well and she had 10. She is my daughters pet rat and Michaela is so excited

Sounds cool It is a great feeling to snub off the overpriced pet store rats in favor of homegrown!

Yes it is! I take great pride in how I care for all of my animals so seeing happy, healthy babies is wonderful.
I just had another girl give birth a couple hours ago, first to ever do it in the daytime. She gave me 8 more healthy babies. One more girl is due to pop this week as well. I need around 30-35 rats per week so we are right on schedule.
