(FAO Euro folks) Any experience of Microclimate Thermostats?

Just about the only alternative to Habistat products that I can find for sale in the UK are Microclimate stats. Has anyone used one of these? With such a narrow choice what are considered the 'best' thermostats in Europe?

Re: (FAO Euro folks) Any experience of Microclimate Thermostats?

    Hi,

I have not used those but have been thinking about it.

I really like the safety features but they are still not digital and that dial has the same cruddy range as the habistats.

I was looking at lucky reptile thermostats on ebay but I'm not sure if they have the same safety features either.

I did find out where to buy the johnson controls a-419 equivalent over here (£78 if memory serves) but there is quite a lead time to get them and, again, I don't know if they have the same safety features. Perhaps someone who uses the johnson can chip in to tell me this?

The problem being these are al on/off thermostats whereas the microclimate range does have a dimmer.

If you do take the plunge I too would appreciate reviews.

Anyone else in europe got a best thermostat available recomendation?
