Babes born 9-13 and 9-15 QUESTION NEED ANSWERS FAST

Alright well i had my first litter about a week ago

Eight baby mice for my first one
and then 12 for my next

There tub stink HORRIBLY and was wondering if i could clean it out?

I've handled the babys and the moms seem fine with it.

Yeah no worries...
take em out one by one and put the babies back in first before mom goes in!
She will build a new nest and put them in it!

I would go ahead and clean their cages. You might save a bit of the bedding to nest the babies in the clean cage. If the mom allows you to handle the babies you're doing great!

Sure, we clean our mouse tubs every week, no matter who has babies. And right now, we have TONS of babies. I need to post pics of my silver brindles, actually.

Yeah, definitely clean out those tubs. I also clean regardless of who has babies and if they deal with it fine, then good, if they don't deal, well.. they get fed off.

I clean regardless of whats going on in the tub...I also try to see which preggo girls are ready to pop and make sure they have a clean tub to deliver in, that also gives the pinks about a week to grow before another tub cleaning.
