We recently got some new equipment to spiff up our photography setup. After staring at ball python pics for the past couple of weeks I seriously needed a blood python pic fix!!! They all behaved really well for sitting in a bright white space & having a big flash blasting at them, although a couple were not quite as cooperative as I'd hoped.

Ok...this snake makes me absolutely mental in terms of photographing him. THERE IS NO BLACK ON THIS SNAKE!! I know it shows up in the pics as black pigment, but what you see as black is actually a rich bittersweet-chocolate brown. I'm upgrading my photo software soon & will try to color correct these pics so you guys & gals can actually see what I see looking at this snake.
