Re: enchi pastel
Enchi and Pastel are completely unrelated morphs. Enchi's have a pastel appearance, but they are not a variant of the pastel morph as was initially suspected. Read here for more:

Re: enchi pastel
To the best of my knowledge... Enchi is an established line all in it's own..... something that has been proven. It looks like you have a very pretty snake there! Normals can have an extreme verity of color-pattern, that's what makes them so great!
Grey Scale is a good thing...

Re: enchi pastel
yeah i read that too but i thought most people still refer to them as enchi pastels. i just cant seem to find a good explanation to exactly what a young one looks like. all ive seen is that they start out orange ( which mine is very orange, the photos don't do it justice) and then they turn yellowish. to almost green.

Enchi's have green eye like a spider and most will have a 4 leaf clover marking on their head. Clear belly and really stark colorings.
hope this helps

Re: enchi pastel
You have a nice looking girl, but she's not an enchi.
Enchis are very "clean" looking with what I call a "smooth" pattern that is most often extremely banded. Seeing them in person is really the best way to be able to judge and define their appearance. Like many mutations, some of the subtle things that make an enchi an enchi are very hard to capture in images. If you saw one in person, you'd know exactly why your animal isn't an enchi.
Hope this helps.
