I had a new experience with my corn, Butter-nutter. Every once in awhile I will take my BP and Corn to my kids place to show them how they have grown, and they like the snakes too. Chocloate had his visit first. Then NB, my daughter-in-law doesn't like his flitteryness, being so fast and all. So I keep a rein on him, usually by letting him crawl and then gently picking him up from his middle and bringing him back towards me and gliding through my hand until his tail is on the floor.
After several of these moves,....he did one...when he "farted" I thought..what? and I got my answer, in fluids and stool into my hand as he slide his tail to the floor. I think he actually smiled!!My jaw had dropped and my daughter-in-laws eyes poped. Then we laughed. BN got washed off (after my hands were) and then I got out the carpet cleaner.
This was a first. Any other surprise moments out there??
Today I cleaned cages, I had to rearrange Chocolate because at a yard sale I found a wooden wine rack, the open kind that loks like brick-brack. Chocolate is enjoying his new toy, crawling in and out of the holes. I made sure he can't get too close to the heat light, and the rack won't tip. He has his own monkey bars. Now is this a spoiled BP or what!!!
Talk at you all later, Joannarea
