    It's happening for sure ... personally, I feel that butters and lessers are the same thing ... but, as lesser prices went down over the years, there's been speculation by many in the industry that sooner or later it would happen. Big breeder, small breeder, hobbyist ... high prices, market prices, low prices ... make sure you KNOW who you're giving your money to.

    Re: Selling Lessers as Butters ?

    I have thought Lessers and Butters were the same thing for a long time, I just don't see the extra yellow that some claim to see. I would be surprised if by next season lessers and Butters are not pretty much the same price(I suspect they already are the same price for the "insiders"). I personally would never pay more for a butter. Even though I personally think they are the same thing, I do think it is wrong for breeders to try to mislead people who still believe they are different by selling "lessers" as "butters". I consider them different lines of the same morph.

    I think people who said they're not the same thing are people who have Butter for sale

    Seriously, do Lesser & Butter look different when they're adult???

    No but there are suttle differences when crossed with other muttions. Like black pastels and Cinnis;

    I also think that it extends from just butters and lessers...i think mojos are the same just darker.
