    Finally!!!

I finally got my butterscotch hypo to eat. I got him from Bailey n Bailey reptiles...great people by the way and very hepful but they were feeding live and i don't have a constant source of live feeders the rite size. He was only 2 months old though and he hadn't had a meal for over a month...i was getting kinda worried and he was looking skinny. i finally got him to take a F/T rat pinky tonight but i almost had to beat him in the face with it...not literally...but it took a few times of bumpin his nose with it to get him to strike then he missed and the i just set it in front of his face and he slowly grabbed it and hardly even constricted. I'm just so glad i don't have to worry bout it anymore. Sorry for the long post im just happy!

    Re: Finally!!!

I can't see it =/ if you right click over the pic, go to properties, and highlight the URL you can copy/paste it here and that should work. Tim and Monica are both great people to work with! I'm getting a BP from them as well and will definately buy from them again.

    Re: Finally!!!

    Brett,
I'm glad to here that he finally ate. In the future, if he or any others give you problems, I would try a F/T mouse. And here is the pic Brett was trying to post.

    Re: Finally!!!

Thanks Tim for the pic. None of the others have ever been a problem with eating, they all took there first F/T rats a week after I received them. He just didn't seem to want to eat the F/T because I even tried using a F/T hopper mouse. But im just glad i finally got him to eat. He is by far my favorite BP that i own. But that spider is a lil bugger...he keeps nipping and striking every time i reach in to get him for cage cleanings.
