    Volunteer question?

In the past couple weeks I have started learning mroe then I would ever think about reptiles. Snakes mainly but I was wonderign if anyone here knows if ALL zoos allow volunteers to help with any animal at all in thier spare time. I would love to work with animals in this capacity.

    Re: Volunteer question?

No, not all zoos have volunteer programs, and the ones that do have their own regulations on how they are run. The programs are very structured, though, meaning you work specified hours doing specified tasks.

My daughter was a youth volunteer for 3 years at the Dallas Zoo, and I plan on volunteering there this year. Hope this helps!
