And you thought Ball Pythons could hiss.

I really don't agree with the cleanliness level that he keeps his surroundings and work area. But he does have some awsome hots.

    Hi,

Is this the same idiot that houses multiple hots in one cage and mentioned it was unusual to see them all eating nicely rather than striking at each other and has a ball in the same cage as a hot as well?

I hope not! Is it? I've never much liked Gaboons... remind me of Boa Constictors with monstrous features... gives me shivers.

    Hi,

Yeah it's the same guy. check out the thread about it here.

Personally I love the colouration and pattern of gaboon vipers but I am not really intrested in keeping hots even if it was legal where I live ( it isn't illegal per se but you need a license which the council has never granted to anyone - not even the zoo).

Re: And you thought Ball Pythons could hiss.

Gaboons are actually one of the few hots I would ever consider keeping. I think they're gorgeous snakes and supposedly they're comparatively easy going.

I couldn't get over how large his lung was, though. It seemed like his whole body would inflate and deflate with every hiss.
