I'm going to keep a close eye on his health to make sure he's really alright. JEEEsh it has to have been two weeks since he got out, but it felt like forever!
While he was gone however, I added two new bps to the collection, meaning I needed space for them, and I needed it fast. Here's the rack I built after staying up all night:
I havent gotten any flexwatt yet, for the meantime im still using my UTH's. I was suprised how fast it went together, especially with just some scrap materials from cheap old shelves.
My newest member of my BP family however, ('06 100% het albino male) is in quarantine because unfortunately the breeder I bought him from "unknowingly" delivered him with an RI. He came on Wed last week, and i put him directly into his bin setup upon arrival, with all the right temps/humidity. It wasn't until saturday when I opened his bin for the first time to find he's been drooling all over the place. Unfortunately with the holiday weekend I wont be able to get him to a Vet until Tues. I hope he'll be alright.
Any advice on the rack/ het with RI please let me know! feedback more than welcome!!
Ohh....also could you give me the measurements to the wood,I would REALLY appreciate that.
The tub's (41 quart ?) look like they fit perfectly, did you have a hard time fitting your UTH's under there ?? what kind of hardware did you use ? Ive got a bunch of 41 quart rubbermaids lying around.

Well its not wood, I got 4 pieces of that plastic* shelving, not quite sure what the material is called im trying to find the name in past threads, but the sides and back were just scrap wood pieces from an old shelf.
The shelves are 4' by 16" they were 9 bucks each at walmart in the garage shelving section.

Re: Found Romeo! had to make rack fast!
oh yea and they are 41qt tubs and i put cardboard underneath to shim them up when i was determining how high the shelves should be.
This gave me the perfect amount of room for the uth/ flexwatt in the future.

Hardware was just 1-1/4" screws, holds pretty money. That 30gal is pretty darn heavy too so the screws i'd say do the trick

Does anybody know the best place to get flexxwatt? Or any other type of belly heat source?

www.reptilebasic.com is an excellent supplier for many of your herping needs.
Are those melamine shelves by any chance?
