Hello from me and Monty!

Hi, just introducing myself (Mike) and my new 4 month old royal... Monty. I'm from the Isle of Wight in the UK.
He's my first snake and i think a male. I got him from a friendly local guy who has a real nice collection of exotic pets from chameleons, tarantulas, tortoises, snakes and geckos. i was tempted to get one of his macklots pythons from him too but they were very vicious!

i saw the forum after a google and have already gathered a tremendous ammount of valuable info here, thankyou. any advide would be gladly welcome!!

I just weighed him and he's just 80 gramms and 17" long two days after i gave him my first feed. (successful)

Wow. Thats awesome. Im getting a new BP tomorrow and I was going to name him Monty. Monty the Python. Great minds eh?

thanks for the welcome, Monty was a nickname i had and i thought it would be an appropriate snake name!
i accidentally deleted the image on photobucket and i cant edit my posts for some reason! so here it is again.
