    Humidity ?

I was wondering what the best way to keep the correct humidity in my adult bp's enclosure. It is a 20 gallon long glass gage with a mesh top. all of my temps are correct but i just cant manage to keep the humidity above about 37%.

    Re: Humidity ?

Hey there. When I had a glass enclosure, I was able to bump the humidity up by dampening a towel every day and placing it over one half of the mesh top. Try that out

    Re: Humidity ?

I have the reverse problem. I have too much humidity. I can't get the humidity in my rack below 80%. A small fan blowing towards the rack seems to help a lot though.

    Re: Humidity ?

Have you looked at this sticky?

    http://www.ball-pythons.net/forums/s...ad.php?t=32800

It shows you how to cover your screen with 3 layers of foil and some duct tape. I have done this to my current BP tank and it works very well. I just mist to bring the humidity to the proper level when necessary, usually only once every couple of days or so.

I have heard others use saran wrap to cover their screen tops also with good results as well.
