Put our 15 in. yellow foot out in the yard with the dogs since I was out to keep an eye on everyone. When one of the dogs would get too curious I would make a sound to let them know to back off. A few minutes later I noticed the frenchie sitting next to the tort. just watching the other dogs. When one of the other dogs would venture to within 10 ft. of the tort she would fly savagely into their face, then return to her post. She kept up the vigil till tort was returned to his pen. She has never in the past fought over anything with these dogs. I believe she has laid claim to my tortoise!:eek: She would occasionally check the tort over then sit down again. Almost as if to say "are you alright." The tort just kept grazing peacefully.
