Help needed!

I just went to pick up Nagini's mouse and they had been cleaned out by some people and only had one left of the right size (only larger adults were left, weird). The thing is, this one looks kind of scrawny and doesn't seem to breath too well.

So, do I go ahead and try to feed it to her despite its appearance, or do I skip this week and feed her a nice fat healthy mouse next week after she's done shedding? (Yes, she's in shed right now, so I don't know if she would even take this mouse if offered). Please let me have some opinions soon...within the next 2 1/2 hours. Thanks!

me personally i'd wait. i always pic out the healthiest looking rodents for my snake.

I'd wait for a nice healthy mouse.

and if you already got the sick looking one, perhaps you could help it and try to make it better so you could still use it later on???

But I wouldnt feed my BP that! Unless I was stuck on an island with my snake and the dieing mouse... *then I'd probably eat it*

Personally, I wouldn't feed my Sunny anything that looks sick or scrawny. I don't want her to have anything that isn't healthy, and I feel it's better to be safe than sorry. So I would just wait until you could get a healthy one.

Thanks guys, that's what I thought, but I just wanted some advice from other BP owners first. As it is, she's in shed right now and might not even take it. She's been hiding more than usual...I think she's cranky.

I have a few extra critter keepers, so I might go ahead and try keeping her to see if she gets better (away from the breeder mice of course).
