Hey all!! I am sooooooooo freaking happy to have found this forum! I've just started as of today to find my daughter a ball python as a pet but in reading the 20 million pages of information out there my interest has be piqued for these amazing animals. I've been a dog breeder for 30 something years and have always had an interest in animal husbandry so looking at all the genetic stuff on the ball pythons has been wonderful fun and amazingly interesting! Anyway, I'd like to hook up with others in Canada and learn more about these animals before I actually go out and buy one. I LOVE the pieds...omg they are amazing and I think I'd like to breed them but of course want to learn a lot more first before jumping into that endeavor. We would however like to purchase a nice 2006/2007 baby to start out with and color is immaterial as this will be the daughters pet...she likes them all. She's so good with reptiles and is very unhappy right now as her bearded dragon just died of what we think is maybe cancer (he had a big lump in his stomach and went downhill really fast...like within a week he'd stopped eating/drinking/moving) So her room is reptile free right now and she's NOT happy about that. Anyway, would love to meet/talk with others in Canada that breed ball pythons...if you're out there let me know ok? I have sent an email to 2 breeders and hope to hear back from them. *s* ttys all!!
