Greetings allJust thought I'd put up a quick update on Nagini and Aries for all those who have helped me out and answered my endless questions.
I took Nagini to see the breeder today to get her checked out and have her eye looked at. He said she was looking great, and that her eye looked picked at or like it caught against something. Probably happened with that bad shed. It should right itself with her next shed or two (she finally went blue this morning after 2 1/2 weeks of pink belly) and if it doesn't I take her to the vet.
Otherwise she eats like a champ, just got raised to small adult mice, and is nice and healthy.
Aries, my corn snake from the RM expo, finally ate for me on Tuesday.I spoke with his breeder and figured out that since he had never really been handled, he was stressing big time whenever I tried to take him out to put him in a feeding box. *slaps self* I really should have thought of that at first...
Anyway, I got him a good small adult FT mouse and offered it in his home tank and he nabbed it. Been hiding on his warm side since.
My leo loves his new setup and his phoenix worms, so, all's good on the reptile front. Thanks especially to Emily and Dr. Del for their advice and PM help, and a big thanks in general to all who gave me their input.![]()
