I was wondering what sorts of majors other here are studying? Where you go to school?
I'm about to start my second year at McGill University in Montreal (not at the main campus though, the cool kids study at the environmental campus). My major is Applied Zoology, though I'm putting a focus on entomology.
So far I love love love it there, actually studying the things I love, in a school setting, it's a dream come true. And being around like minded people is amazing. When I'm there, I'm no longer the only crazy bug lady!
Was wondering if perhaps any of the snake lovers here are studying herpetology? My whole life has definitely been a toss-up between entomology and herpetology... but there arent really any good reptile programs in the schools near me, they're mostly out west from what I've heard... I have a feeling I'll stick with the bugs and spiders for study, and the reptiles as a hobby.![]()
This semester is going to be insane... biochem, genetics, natural history of vertebrates, introduction to fungi, and evolution & systematics. Woohoo!
