We went to the Erie County Fair last weekend. Of course, me being the snake lover that I am, I had to go into the "freak show" type booths. One said "The head of a woman and the body of a snake!!" It turned out to be some lady sitting with her head poking out of a hole in a small stage, with a cheesy looking fake snakeskin around the sides to make it look like it was her body.. lol!
Then down the line was a "Giant Python!" I felt an obligation to see what was going on in there, and it turned out to be a healthy looking female Burm in a big cage. The snake looked fine and I saw no reason to be upset with it being on display. We ended up talking snakes with the owner for a few minutes, and he was overjoyed that we keep and breed ball pythons; I guess that in this world, it is still tough to find fellow snake lovers, and always fun to talk "shop" lol.
I passed on the Midget Woman, the Snake-Eating Frog, and the World's Smallest Horse. (Small horse, we saw last year; it was just a regular mini horse.. lol.)
