My latest clutch just shed out so here are some pics.... I'm a LITTLE bit confused.
This was a het hypo X het hypo breeding. The egg laying itself was kind of odd because
the female never wrapped the clutch and none of the eggs adhered to each other.
When I opened the tub the female was in, all the eggs rolled up to the front to meet me.

The eggs looked good, but it's usually not a good sign when the female refuses to wrap
them and considering that they were rolling around loose and none of them were stuck
to anything I didn't have real high hopes, but all of them candled good so I incubated them.
They all continued to look good until hatching. Out of 5 eggs I got 4 live babies. The
5th one I cut open and found a fully formed perfect baby that had been strangled by its
umbilical cord.

None of these look like hypos to me, but of the 2.2 I ended up with, one looks a little bit
different. She has a big spot on the top of her head and is overall lighter in color but also
has the coolest looking silvery eyes. I believe she's just a random jungle ball and not a hypo
but I'll be holding on to her anyway just to see how she turns out.

Even though I missed the hypos this year, I'm not totally disappointed. These babies look pretty
nice all on their own. The parents both have a lot of blushing and the babies seemed to
inherit a bit of that. Anyway, here are the pics

Here's one more of the little oddball. I think I'll call her Oddrey (or Audrey, get it?).

Well, maybe next year I'll hit on the hypos.
