    Getting a Freezer

I'm finally breaking down and getting a 5 cube foot freezer to store frozen feeders and sugar glider BML in. Because my fiance works in the store, I can get a nice discount on it. Originally its $170. I get it for about $150. Its small enough that my short little self can reach the bottom so no problems there. Since my mini fridge's freezer compartment hasn't been able to keep my feeders frozen I've had to switch to live which I don't really like to do. So now that the gliders are coming home, I need a freezer to put thier BML in, so I thought, why not just get one big enough to fit feeders and BML. So woot!

So, if anyone could point me in the direction of some good online feeder suppliers, that would be wonderful. Also, I have a pretty busy schedule, with gliders coming come, reptile, work, school and everything like that. What if I can't be home when the package arrives?

    Re: Getting a Freezer

this stickie pretty much covers frozen feeder suppliers: http://www.ball-pythons.net/forums/s...ad.php?t=31956

personally i like big cheese rodents, or the mouse factory. i am sure everyone has their favorites.

i usually buy from local breeder around here, or go to an expo and pick up my rodents there. that way i don't have to pay $30 or so in shipping. that means more food for the snakes

i too need to get a little chest freezer, but mostly for frozen pizzas, pizza rolls, or hot pockets... gotta love college life.

    Re: Getting a Freezer

I have a full size stand up freezer, but I need another one! I usually go to the Rabbit Meat Farm and stock up on rabbits whenever I get low and then order rats from www.rodentpro.com

    Good luck!

    Re: Getting a Freezer

I get the freezer in a few days so I'll probably get the feeders from the expo on the 25th. I'm excited abou this freezer because I'll have a place to keep BML for the gliders. I'm so excited to have them home.
    They are such clowns.
