    the girls new home (pics)

do remember everyone they are pets not feeders lol.. im not obbsessed with my snakes dinner
this is the girls new home.. they seem to like it, i added lots of new toys and as i learn more im sure i will be adding more our two blk/wht rats remy and emmie were out exploring while miss big ears is hiding out. im sure once our kids go to sleep she too will come out to play. i made sure and put an extra couple treats inthere as well for the girls. if this cage is big enough to add another two females we might just do it at this point, i dont think its too small for the three of them anymore, they seem to have lots of room to run and play :rattysmiley:

    ok, ok now for pics!
    before :poke:

    remy

    emmie

    miss big ears

(all three girls are same age/size even though the pictures are a bit deceiving
    new home!

Oh that looks excellent Ashley...a real rat heaven! You're probably going to want to just have the three in there though. Even female rats can get quite a good size on them. I've had female rats with a body build almost as big as some of my males.

I bet they are having an absolute blast in there! Is this the enclosure you picked up for $20?

Just one quick warning though, if those are the little plastic kitty balls with a bell in them the rats can chew into them pretty easily and get to that bell.

yes, that is the cage for $20. it needed some cleaning up but not like i couldnt see the potential so i took it

as for the "cat" balls, those are actually ferret balls, they (According to label) are made of thicker plastic. i will keep a close eye on them, thanks!

they seem to be liking it

Sweet! A top o the line rat home. Good work. And cute rats BTW, especially Miss Big Ears, I love the cream color.

Very Nice...I am sure they are going to love it. From the looks of it they will be very busy and keep entertained .

    Great Job.

Oh well if a ferret can't chew into them, a rat likely won't too fast either. I wish I could find a deal like that. I've got to start haunting craigslist a LOT more I think.
